智能手机销售强劲 三星电子营业利润创两年来新高

Strong smartphone sales have helped Samsung Electronics post its best quarterly results in more than two years.

凭借强劲的智能手机销售，三星电子公司日前获得了两年多以来最高的季度利润。

Second-quarter operating profit jumped 18% to 8.1tn Korean won ($7.17bn; 5.46bn pound), in line with the company's guidance issued in July. Operating profit at its mobile division soared 27% year-on-year to 4.3tn won.

根据三星公司7月份发布的一份指导文件显示，该公司第二季度营业利润为8.1万亿韩元（约合71.7亿美元，54.6亿英镑），大涨了18%。手机部门营业利润同比去年飙升了27%，到达了4.3万亿韩元。

That is mainly driven by strong sales of its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone models.

这一现象的主要原因是三星Galaxy S7和Galaxy S7 Edge两款只能手机的强劲销售。

Samsung predicts continued increase in demand for its smartphones and tablets in the second half of the year. But the company also indicated that "market competition is expected to strengthen as other companies release new mobile devices".

据三星预测，今年下半年对其手机和平板电脑的需求还会持续增长。但是该公司也表明，“由于其他公司也发布了新款手机，市场竞争将会增强。”

Samsung is confident that the release of a new large-screen flagship smartphone in the third quarter will help maintain the track record of its smartphone sales.

三星对在今年第三季度发行一款最新宽屏旗舰智能手机很有自信，而且该公司相信，这款手机将会帮助他们保持智能手机销售记录。

Samsung's results are in contrast to rival Apple. Earlier this week, the US company reported a 15% drop in iPhone sales for the April-to-June quarter. And it also said it expected sales to fall again in the current quarter.

和三星骄人的业绩相比，竞争对手苹果就显得很惨淡了。本周早些时候，这家美国公司报告称，第二财季iPhone的销售额下跌了15%。而且苹果表示，他们预测第三财季的销售额还会再次下降。

As for other divisions in the Samsung conglomerate, the company is forecasting a decline in TV demand for the second half of the year, citing "weakened demand in Europe and a prolonged economic slowdown in emerging markets".

至于集团的其他部门，三星公司预计今年下半年对电视的需求将会下降，理由是“欧洲的需求减弱，以及新兴市场的经济长期低迷”。
