BEIJING — Chinese former Olympic hurdles champion Liu Xiang has filed a lawsuit against online ride-hailing service provider Didi for using his image without authorization in online ads, a Beijing court said Friday.
北京消息，一家北京法院周五表示，前中国奥运110米栏冠军刘翔起诉网络叫车服务商“滴滴出行”在网络广告中未经授权，擅自使用其肖像。

Olympic hurdles champion是奥运会跨栏冠军；ride-hailing service是叫车服务。
北京市海淀法院受理了此案（accepted the case）。
原告刘翔诉称，2015年4月 “滴滴出行”在官方微博（official microblog account）中，发布了内容为“#刘翔退役（retirement）了#我的跑道（my runway）！我的栏（my hurdles）！每一段结束，都是另一个开始（Every ending point is a new start.），加油！”的配图微博。微博内容先是介绍刘翔赛跑成绩，之后转而介绍“滴滴出行”软件，并使用了六幅刘翔肖像（image）作为配图。
刘翔认为，“滴滴出行”官方微博未经许可（without authorization），擅自使用其肖像图片，侵犯了其肖像权（violated his rights of publicity），具有明显的商业属性，极易使公众误认为（misled the public）刘翔系“滴滴出行”代言人（brand spokesman）或与“滴滴出行”存在某种合作关系，使刘翔蒙受外界诸多误解（misunderstanding），因此起诉要求该公司立即删除侵权链接及侵权图片（immediately delete the related web links and photos），并赔礼道歉、赔偿（compensation）经济损失共计126万元。
