第164课:When did something start out badly for you but in the end, it was great?

主题:When did something start out badly for you but in the end, it was great?

I injured my back at work and had to have an MRI. The results of the MRI not only confirmed a slipped disc in my back but also discovered a growth in my left kidney. A subsequentCT scan confirmed that it was cancer. My oncologist said the cancer was a bad one but caught early. He said had I gone six months to a year without catching the cancer, it would have been a different story. Now, I have the rest of my life cancer free with a new appreciation that only nearly dying can deliver. I don't take days for granted and try to live life to the fullest. It truly has been great.
